Care Veterinary Clinic | Care at the Courtyard
Our mission is to provide the highest quality veterinary care for our patients by informing our clients about the latest in healthcare and preventative medicine. We will strive to help our clients make educated decisions. This will allow them to choose the best care for their pet in hopes of helping them live a longer and healthier life.

Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we see our clients and patients by appointment. Walk-in clients will be seen when necessary and as time allows. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments. For this reason the occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each patient on time. When you visit our hospital and if there is a wait, we want to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Patient Arrival Policy
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and new encounters with other pets.

For these reasons, and for the safety of your pet, it is important that you properly restrain your pet both inside and outside of our hospital.

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the parking area, the waiting area, and the exam room.

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Birds must be in a cage or box and not held or displayed in the waiting area. If you will need help in carrying an animal into the clinic, ask the front office staff for assistance on arrival. They will have an assistant aid you.

Important Client Information Regarding Contagious Diseases
In order to help prevent the spread of contagious diseases, we ask that clients adhere to the following instructions.

If your pet is coughing, please leave your pet in your car during check in. Our staff will place you and your pet in an examination room to prevent the possible spread of diseases such as kennel cough.

If you have a dog less than 1 year old that has diarrhea, vomiting, and or is lethargic please leave him/her in your vehicle during check in. Our staff will place you and your pet in an examination room to prevent the possible spread of contagious diseases such as parvovirus.

If you need help in carrying an animal into the clinic, ask the front office staff for assistance on arrival. They will have an assistant aid you.

Drop Off Appoinments
For the convenience of established clients with previously seen pets, 'drop off' appointments are available for many medical and surgical cases. A 'drop off' allows you to bring in your pet during our regular office hours at the time that works best for you. We can then contact you with a treatment plan and an estimate. For this service and since your pet will be staying with us, you will incur a boarding charge.

Usually we will ask you to 'drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is finished with the exam, the doctor or one of our staff will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and any treatment instructions.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all your pet’s vaccinations be up to date.

Payment Policy
We require payment in full at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and personal checks. We also offer CareCredit, a credit service designed specifically for veterinary services and also veterinary insurance policies. Please feel free to inquire further about payment policies.

Payment For Services
Payment-in-full is expected at the time of service. We will be happy to provide you with an estimate for any service or product. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request an estimate at any time for your expected charges.

When your pet experiences an unexpected emergency, you experience unexpected expenses. If necessary, Care Veterinary Clinic and Care at the Courtyard Veterinary Clinic may make financial arrangements through the CareCredit program.
